To create a print-ready design, follow these key guidelines:
- File Format: Use PDF, AI, EPS, or PNG for best quality.
- Resolution: Ensure your images are at least 300 DPI for sharp prints.
- Color Mode: Use CMYK for accurate color printing.
- Bleed Area: Add a 1/8-inch bleed to avoid white edges.
- Safe Zone: Keep important content ¼-inch inside the trim line.
- Fonts: Outline or embed fonts to prevent issues.
- Sizing: Double-check your design’s size to match the print dimensions.
- Set Dimensions: Choose the correct size for your print (e.g., 8.5×11 inches).
- Add Bleed: In Canva, add 0.125 inches of bleed around your design.
- Use High-Resolution Images: Ensure your images are at least 300 DPI for clear prints.
- Download as PDF: Choose PDF Print and check Crop marks and bleed when downloading.
